Building Behavior Analysis
Design decisions should always be based on an understanding of how a specific building type 'behaves' (distribution of heating and cooling loads) for a given climate, in order to develop green design strategies that maximize efficiency while minimizing first cost implications. Elements enables teams to make intelligent design decisions by using a combination of energy modeling, natural ventilation modeling and passive solar analysis. Results from our modeling efforts can be used to predict operating costs, pollution impacts and LEED™ energy credits attained. Ultimately, building design should be informed by this comprehensive analysis.
