Green Material Selection
Few architectural firms have done as much research into material selection for green projects as Elements/BNIM. In addition to creating criteria for new green products for manufacturers, Elements makes this knowledge available to other project teams by using a holistic methodology that accounts for the durability, embodied energy, and maintenance implications of a product or building system, and its impact on indoor air quality and energy efficiency. The Elements team can assist with green specifications, or the selection of regionally preferable materials.
